Hillary Clinton makes it official announces she is running for president
Democrat Hillary Clinton has made the worst kept secret official that she is running for president. Clinton made her announcement on Sunday afternoon, April 12, 2015 around 3 p.m. EDT via email to her supporters and by posting a video to her newly re-launched website. Even before Clinton made it official, Democrats were praising her, and Republicans went on the attack, including the GOP’s roster of 2016 declared, potential and presumed candidates. Clinton has no plans to deliver a big speech after the well publicized, but rather low key announcement instead she will plans to tour intimate gathering in the major primary states for a month, and then will hold her first major rally and speech in May.
